Access Mentorship Program

The Access Mentorship Program connects ambitious young professionals (protégés) with seasoned, high-level business leaders (mentors) to support their professional and personal development. It is our goal that protégés feel more rooted in the community and that mentors engage with Tallahassee’s next generation of economic, social and civic leaders.

Eligibility:

Access Tallahassee members in good standing may participate in this program. Not an Access Tallahassee member? Join Now!

What to Expect:

The program will run from February 2024 to April 2024.

Mentors and protégés will meet a minimum of twice a month over the three-month timeframe for a suggested one hour per meeting. This could be for coffee, breakfast, lunch, cocktails and/or dinner.

It is the protégés responsibility to reach out to their mentor and schedule meetings. Be ready to own it!

We will provide a variety of assignments to help mentors and protégés stay productive in their meetings. These assignments are optional and the mentor and protégé will decide which assignments to work on together.

Matching Process:

The matching process is designed to properly align our mentors and protégés to ensure a positive experience for both individuals. Protégés will complete an application detailing areas of interest that properly align with protégés’ desired outcomes with a mentor who has expertise in those respective areas. That might mean that mentors and protégés work in different industries, but they will still provide a wealth of knowledge. Because the goal is to properly align areas of interest, not everyone who applies will be matched this year. We want to ensure we are pairing mathes that will be optimally beneficial for both parties.

Applications for the 2024 cycle are closed.
