YP Summit & Future 5 Awards

The Young Professionals (YP) Summit brings together local young professionals to hear from community leaders and network with peers. On Friday, April 26, attendees will learn new ways to grow personally and professionally through workshops and keynote speakers, and five outstanding young professionals will be recognized with the annual Future 5 Awards. We’ll end the day with a special Summit Edition Business & Brews.

You can expect thought-provoking breakout sessions, a compelling keynote presentation, and specially designed opportunities to connect with fellow young professionals.

2024 Keynote Speaker – JD Doughney, Global Partnership Director, META

JD Doughney is a Global Partnerships Director at Meta, where he partners with leading global companies, across Strategy, Creative, Media and Measurement, to innovate & grow their business by leveraging the power of Meta’s apps and services.

Prior to Meta, JD held a series of marketing leadership positions at The Coca-Cola Company including leading digital marketing strategy across Coca-Cola’s portfolio of brands and as Director of Marketing Operations for Glaceau, makers of vitaminwater and smartwater.  He was integral in taking the brand from $175 million to over $1 billion in annual revenue during his time on the business.

Mr. Doughney has also worked in sales and marketing leadership roles with Red Bull North America and E&J Gallo Winery.

He served on the Florida State University Alumni Association National Board of Directors as Membership & Marketing Chair and as an elected member of the Executive Committee.  He currently serves as the Vice Chair for Florida State University’s Student Affairs Advisory Board.

Mr. Doughney is a frequent speaker at industry events and on university campuses where he presents on topics including marketing strategy, digital transformation, storytelling, entrepreneurship, measurement and culture.  He is an adjunct Professor at Kennesaw State University, where he teaches International Marketing.

He has a BS in Communication, a BS in Political Science, and a MS in Integrated Marketing Management from Florida State University, and an MBA from Emory University. He lives in Roswell, Georgia with his wife Amy and sons Jack (11), Cobe (9) and Brooks (5).
