What is your favorite thing about Tallahassee?

My favorite part of Tallahassee is networking in the community I grew up in. For anyone who has started their professional career in their hometown, it is a daunting task at first. I have always joked that as a kid I never cared what my friend’s parents did for work and now I am engaging with many of them to see how we might be able to help. This town has plenty of platforms for newcomers as well to meet business owners, so no one feels like an outsider.

What business or event would you like to see come to Tallahassee?

I would love to see Tallahassee grow its entertainment district and attract larger talents to come in and perform. Additionally, seeing the investment in our airport is promising as successful airports drive commerce into our community by making travel cheaper and more efficient. I hope this is a step in the right direction for the community to help attract larger corporations to open locations in Tallahassee.

What would you say to someone considering moving to Tallahassee?

Although Tallahassee may seem like a small town, we are growing more than ever. Our business landscape is shifting and more investment is coming into areas such as Midtown, Downtown, Innovation Park, the northeast, and South Monroe (and surrounding areas). Additionally, our surrounding counties are growing with Crawfordville being one of the best examples.

What is your favorite thing about your career?

My favorite thing about my career is engaging with business in town and being a small part of their future successes. Building long lasting and meaningful relationships with clients is something we pride ourselves on at Prime Meridian Bank.
