Where do you work and what is your role?
I work as the Sales and Events Director for Governors Club, a private club in the heart of Downtown Tallahassee.
Tell us about your background.
With over 10 years of experience in Hospitality, providing experiences that exceed expectations is second nature for me. I specialize in making not only the most special days in our members’ personal lives but the most pivotal days in their professional careers go off without a hitch. I strive to make sure all details are considered, so that top tier service and exquisite food and beverage can be the focus of all experiences at Governors Club. I have recently added recruiting new members and fostering relationships with our existing members to my wheelhouse, and I have enjoyed the opportunity to share the many benefits of membership of Governors Club with individuals across the State.
Where are you from?
Merritt Island, Florida
How did you end up in Tallahassee?
I made my way up to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University. While completing my studies I fell in love with Tallahassee—the deep sense of community, the natural beauty, and a short ride to the coast had me hooked. I have had a great time planting my roots in Tallahassee and familiarizing myself with locals and other transplants. The ability to cheer on my Alma Mater throughout the year is an added perk!
What do you like about Tallahassee?
How dog-friendly everyone seems to be!
What’s at the top of your Tallahassee bucket list?
Paddleboarding at the Rez is something I’ve always wanted to try.
What is the best part about Access Tallahassee?
The best part of Access is the opportunity to interact with other members who I would otherwise not meet in my personal and professional life while learning skills to improve myself. I got involved to expand my network.
What’s your favorite Access event?
Business and Brews! It’s a great way to meet other Access members in a relaxed environment.
What other organizations are you involved in?
I am currently serving as Funding Director for the Junior League of Tallahassee; an organization that strives to improve the lives of children and families through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. I am also a member of the Tallahassee Association of Wedding Professionals and the Network of Young Professionals.
