TELL US YOUR TALLAHASSEE STORY:
While in the Marine Corps, we had neighbors in Camp Pendleton who are from Tallahassee. After I got stationed in North Carolina, my wife and I came down to visit them and we fell in love with the city, so when I finished my service with the Marine Corps, we planted roots here in Tallahassee and plan on staying and growing in the community.
What would you say to someone considering moving to Tallahassee?
I would ask them what their interests are. If they are a city person, I would talk about how there are tons of places for social gatherings and encourage them to seek the outdoors because outdoor events is where Tallahassee shines. There’s also tons of organizations looking for volunteers to contribute to the community.
