What brought you to Tallahassee?
I came to Tallahassee for school in 2015 and honestly did not think I would still be here almost 11 years later! I started out planning to get a nursing degree and after some unexpected life events, and never really finding my drive for the actaul school portion of the medical field I started to transition my exisiting career in restaurants and hospitality into event coordination.
What business or event would you like to see come to Tallahassee?
I would love to see more concerts and “big-name” artists performing in town! I’m excited about the partnership between TLH and Breeze airways and hope to see more growth in affordable travel options as well.
What would you say to someone considering moving to Tallahassee?
Join Access! Join a club or volunteer group! If you look there’s probably already a local group for whatever activities you’re into whether its running, or crafting, do a facebook search for it. Making new friends as an adult can be intimidating but most of the people in Tallahassee are so welcoming!
What is your favorite thing about your career?
I just generally enjoy connecting with people!

Nature/outdoor space? I live right by the St. Marks Trail, so I go there a lot with the dogs or on an after work walk!

Way to give back to the community? Volunteering through Junior League and our partnerships with many other non-profits in town!

Do you have any “secret” skills or talents? I played the clarinet for over 10 years!
Who inspires you and why? My brother…he unfortunately passed unexpectedly in 2020, but he was always such a kind person and he inspires me to keep kindness with me and pass it along, not only to other people, but to myself, as well.

Current binge-worthy show that you’re watching? I just finished season two of Severance! Taking suggestions for a new binge now
