TELL US YOUR TALLAHASSEE STORY:

My family moved to Tallahassee when I was just four years old, so I’ve had the pleasure of growing up in this beautiful city. I then went to Florida State University before starting my job with the Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Authority, where every day feels like I’m living a new Parks and Rec episode in the best way possible.

What is your favorite thing about Tallahassee?

My favorite thing about Tallahassee is the nature here! We live in one of our country’s most biologically diverse areas, and that shows in all of the different, beautiful parks we have – from Cascades Park to the JR Alford Greenway and everything in between.

Are you involved in any organizations other than Access?

I just finished co-coaching an all-girls middle school Lego robotics team called The Valkyries. The team was created with the mission of getting more girls involved in STEM at a young age!

What would you say to someone considering moving to Tallahassee?

I would tell them to get involved in the community and not shy away from being a tourist in this City as a way to get to know it better! And I’d, of course, recommend they check out Bar 1903, Au Peche Mingon, and Governor’s Park!
