Devan Leavins, City of Tallahassee
Devan has lived in Tallahassee for 17 years and works with individuals, neighborhoods, organizations, and communities to identify often overlooked skills and assets that make their communities unique. He empowers people to start making the changes they want to see in their community in small, visual, and incremental steps. Rather than asking “why hasn’t somebody taken care of this” consider “what can I do to help take care of it.” Once a person has the confidence of doing a small project it becomes easier to do others!
