The Licensed Clinical Counselor for the Open Doors Program provides in-depth clinical assessment and treatment of individuals and families who are victims/survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking. In addition to partnering with the Regional Services Advocate and Survivor Mentors to support the provision of immediate crisis intervention, the Clinical Counselor identifies and assesses needs; plans, coordinates and provides necessary services and treatment; and counsels individuals and families, using such activities as delineating alternatives, articulating goals and providing individual, family and group therapy.
You will provide in-depth clinical assessment and treatment of individuals and families who are victims/survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking.
Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable human services field, required
Professional Florida license in Mental Health (LMHC), Clinical Social Work (LCSW), or Psychology, required
Three years of post-Bachelor’s experience working with at-risk children and families, required
Experience with sexual abuse, exploitation, trauma and/or trafficking, required
