Where do you work and what is your role?
I am the owner/doctor at 100% Chiropractic.
Where are you from?
I was born and raised right here in Tallahassee, FL.
Why did you come to and stay in Tallahassee?
My wife and I were both born and raised here. After completing chiropractic school in March 2014, it was an easy decision for us to come home. We are so passionate about this community and there is no other place we would rather live and serve!
Please highlight a little about your background and any other information you would like to share.
I come from a very large Tallahassee family that dates back a few generations. I graduated from Lincoln High School in 2004 then went on to get my AA from TCC and my BS in Biological Sciences from FSU. I then attended Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia, where I graduated Valedictorian of my class in March 2014.
We moved back and opened up our practice in December 2014 and we haven’t looked back! We are on a mission to make our hometown one of the happiest and healthiest towns in the entire country through a more natural, proactive approach to healthcare. Our Chiropractic practice is truly a wellness center and is about so much more than neck and back pain. We are adamant about getting that knowledge out there so people have all the tools to live at their maximum health potential!
What do you like about Tallahassee?
I have had the privilege of living in Atlanta, Ga and Colorado Springs, CO and there is truly no place like home! Family is the most important thing to my wife and I so that is at the top of the list of things we LOVE about Tallahassee. Then you add in the Noles sporting events, the close proximity to the Forgotten Coast, the southern charm, and the close-knit, small-town feel and there’s just no comparison.
How and why did you get involved with Access?
When we first joined the Chamber last year we wanted to be as involved as possible so Access was a no-brainer for us to join.
How has Access helped you grow both personally and professionally?
Being from here, I always felt like I knew so many people. Then, we opened our practice and realized that there was a lot more to this community and so many people we hadn’t had the pleasure of meeting. The Chamber in general has been a great way for us to meet and network with fellow professionals and become more involved in the small business community.
What has been the best part of your Access experience so far?
We love to network and in a town like Tallahassee, there is no replacement for word-of-mouth. Access is the prefect platform for being able to network with the young professionals in the community.
